TeqTalk is a technology leadership podcast hosted by Jas Kaur, CTO at Teqfocus, featuring conversations with CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, AI leaders, Salesforce executives, founders, and technology innovators from around the world.

Our vision is ambitious. We are building one of the world's leading enterprise technology podcasts.

Every episode is designed to educate technology leaders through meaningful conversations around AI, Salesforce, Enterprise Architecture, Data, Digital Transformation, Cybersecurity, and Emerging Technologies. We're now looking for someone who can help us scale TeqTalk into a world-class media brand by growing our YouTube channel, increasing audience engagement, and building a repeatable content growth engine.



The Opportunity:

  • This is not a traditional social media role.
  • This is not a podcast editing role.
  • This is a YouTube Growth role.
  • Your mission is simple:
  • Grow the TeqTalk audience.
  • You'll own the growth strategy for YouTube and LinkedIn—from content packaging and publishing to analytics, experimentation, and audience growth.
  • You'll work directly with the podcast host to ensure every episode reaches the widest possible audience and contributes to long-term channel growth.


What You'll Own:

  • You own everything that happens after the podcast recording is complete.

This includes:

  • YouTube Growth Strategy
  • Channel Performance
  • Content Packaging
  • Episode Positioning
  • YouTube SEO
  • Shorts Strategy
  • LinkedIn Content Strategy
  • Audience Growth
  • Analytics & Experiments
  • Distribution Strategy

Your success is measured by channel growth organically —not by the number of videos published.


Key Responsibilities

1. YouTube Growth Strategy

  • Develop and execute a long-term strategy to grow the TeqTalk YouTube channel.
  • Create a roadmap to achieve YouTube monetization and accelerate subscriber growth.
  • Research successful podcasts and technology creators to identify growth opportunities.
  • Recommend topics, formats, guests, and content strategies that improve audience growth.
  • Continuously experiment with titles, thumbnails, publishing schedules, and content formats.


2. Podcast Content Strategy

  • Transform every podcast episode into a complete content ecosystem.
  • For every episode, you will:
  • Identify the strongest hooks and key moments.
  • Develop high-performing YouTube titles.
  • Create thumbnail concepts with clear hypotheses.
  • Recommend chapter structure.
  • Plan Shorts and teaser videos.
  • Identify viral moments.
  • Build a complete distribution strategy.


3.Each episode should generate:

  • One full-length YouTube episode
  • 5-7 YouTube Shorts
  • LinkedIn video clips
  • Executive LinkedIn posts
  • Carousel posts
  • Community posts
  • Quote graphics
  • Newsletter content
  • Blog articles
  • Email campaign assets


4. YouTube Optimization

  • Monitor and improve:Click-Through Rate (CTR), Audience Retention, Average View Duration, Watch Hours, Subscriber Growth, Returning Viewers, Search Performance, Browse Performance
  • Regularly test:Titles, Thumbnails, Hooks, Publishing schedules, Shorts strategy, Playlists End screens,Calls-to-action


5. LinkedIn Growth

  • Repurpose podcast content into executive thought leadership.
  • Managing Jas Kaur's LinkedIn content strategy.
  • Growing the TeqTalk and Teqfocus brand through high-quality content.
  • Creating LinkedIn posts, videos, carousels, and newsletters.
  • Driving engagement with enterprise technology leaders.


6. Performance Analytics

  • Why did one episode outperform another?
  • Why did viewers drop off?
  • Which title generated the highest CTR?
  • Which thumbnail converted best?
  • Which Shorts generated subscribers?
  • What should we test next?
  • You use data to make decisions—not assumptions.


What We're Looking For

We care far more about results than years of experience. The ideal candidate has already helped grow one or more YouTube channels.

You should have experience with:

  • YouTube channel growth
  • Creator economy
  • Podcast marketing
  • Personal brand growth
  • LinkedIn content strategy
  • Analytics-driven decision making
  • Experience with B2B technology content is highly preferred.



Required Skills:

  • Proven experience growing a YouTube channel.
  • Strong understanding of YouTube recommendations, CTR, watch time, and retention.
  • Excellent storytelling and content packaging skills.
  • Experience writing compelling titles and designing thumbnail concepts.
  • Strong analytical mindset.
  • Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Descript, OpusClip, riverside, and similar creator tools.
  • Excellent written English.


Preferred Experience working with:

  • Technology podcasts
  • B2B SaaS
  • Salesforce ecosystem
  • Enterprise AI
  • CIO/CTO audiences
  • LinkedIn executive branding



Success in this role will be measured by measurable business outcomes, including:

  • Significant YouTube subscriber growth.
  • Achievement of YouTube monetization milestones.
  • Growth in watch hours.
  • Improved CTR.
  • Higher audience retention.
  • Increased average views per episode.
  • Growth in LinkedIn engagement.
  • Creation of a repeatable content growth engine.
