Job Title: Founder’s Office – Entrepreneur-in-Residence
Location: Hybrid (Office location-Gurgaon)
Reporting To: Founder

Nurturing Green is a one-stop gardening brand, serving customers across India through retail, e-commerce, and quick commerce channels etc. With a growing national presence and recognition as a Shark Tank India – Season 4 featured brand, we are entering a critical phase of scale.
Our focus is now on strengthening business fundamentals — robust processes, financial discipline, and data-driven decision making — while maintaining speed and agility.
We are hiring for the Founder’s Office to work closely with the Founder on building structure, visibility, and execution muscle across the organization in a fast-moving environment.
Role Overview:
This is a high-ownership, high-exposure role at the center of the company. You will work closely with the Founder and HODs to bring clarity, structure, and accountability to how the business operates.
The role is not comfortable by design. You will often work in ambiguity, face resistance or pushback from teams, have to chase closure, build structure where none exists.
You will need strong business judgment, financial understanding, and a persistent hustler mindset to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Business Process Design & Structuring
- Build and document end-to-end process flows across functions (Retail, Online, Supply Chain, Finance, NPD, CS, etc.)
- Rework and optimize existing processes as scale and complexity increase
- Push for adoption and closure, even when teams are stretched or resistant
2. Business Metrics, Reviews & Operating Cadence
- Define key business metrics and KPIs for each function
- Design and finalize review formats so the Founder can regularly track performance
- Build a strong operating cadence:
- Weekly / monthly business reviews
- Functional dashboards & trackers (Excel, Power BI, other tools)
- Clear action items and follow-ups
- Ensure metrics are decision-oriented, not just reporting for the sake of it
- Analyze business performance and translate data into actionable insights.
3. Financial & Business Analysis
- Work closely with Finance and the Founder on:
- AOP (Annual Operating Plan) creation and closure
- P&L, EBITDA, contribution margin, and unit economics analysis
- Support cost reduction and optimization projects across supply chain, marketing, operations, and overheads
- Analyze variances vs plan and highlight risks / opportunities early
4. Systems, Tools & Vendor Coordination
- Lead coordination with internal teams and external vendors for:
- ERP implementations or migrations
- OMS / WMS for supply chain
- Other operational or analytics tools
- Evaluate tools from a business + ROI lens, not just features
- Support system rollouts, adoption, and data hygiene
5. Strategic & Ad-hoc Founder-Led Initiatives
- Support the Founder on high-priority strategic projects and problem statements
- Break down ambiguous problems into executable workstreams
- Track execution across teams and push for closure
- Create Board decks, Investor updates, Strategic review decks etc
- Act as a thought partner and execution arm to the Founder
6. AI Workflows & Business Automation
- Identify manual, repetitive, or error-prone processes that can be improved using AI or automation
- Experiment with AI tools to Build internal workflows and lightweight agents, Automate reporting, summaries, screening, or reviews
- Work with teams to integrate AI into day-to-day business operations, not as a side project
- Train, prompt, and test LLM-based agents to solve real business problems (e.g., CV screening bots, escalation handlers, P&L summarizers etc).
What We’re Looking For:
- CA or MBA (Finance) strongly preferred
- 2-5 years of experience in Founder’s Office/ Consulting/ Strategy / Business Ops/ Finance-heavy startup roles
- Experience in consumer brands, D2C, retail, or lifestyle startups
- Strong understanding of Balance Sheet, P&L, EBITDA, contribution margins, Unit economics and cost drivers
- High comfort with Excel / Google Sheets
- Familiarity with tools like Power BI, Asana, Notion, dashboards, ERP systems etc
- No coding required, but you must be obsessed with workflows, AI tools, and operational hacks.
- Ability to work independently with minimal handholding
