Summary:
Position provides the first point of contact for all incoming calls to Shrader Tire & Oil (STO). Candidate must maintain a positive attitude, flexibility, and a willingness to “do whatever it takes” to ensure our customers’ experience is the best it can be. Summary:
Position provides the first point of contact for all incoming calls to Shrader Tire & Oil (STO). Candidate should possess ability to make clear and direct decisions that positively impact efficiency, and the customer experience.
Duties:
- Provides first point of contact for all incoming calls to STO. Will answer, transfer calls, or take messages in a professional manner.
- Processes orders, prepares correspondence, and fulfills customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Provides pricing, delivery information and processes orders.
- Work cockpit report to ensure old orders, transfers, and PO’s are closed.
- Managing incoming and outgoing mail.
- Also processing invoices, work orders, transfers, and national account paperwork for tire service.
- Maintaining customer furnished forms, 3rd party billing.
- Receive inventory, create purchase orders and transfers.
Position Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Phone etiquette required.
- Strong background with Microsoft office products, especially Microsoft excel, web-based applications and electronic data storage. Any database/ODBC experience is a plus.
- Prior experience in customer service environment, including order entry and customer interaction.
- Prior experience with inventory, physicals, audits, invoicing, pricing, and transfers would be beneficial.
- The highest degree of confidentiality is required for this position.
