Profile - FP&A Analyst
Qualification - MBA/CA
Experince - Minimum 6 years for MBA qualified , Minimum 3 years for CA qualified
Location - Gurgaon
Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to support the FP&A function in financial planning, forecasting, and performance monitoring. The role will work closely with business leaders and the finance leadership team to drive financial insights, support decision-making, and improve business profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the FP&A team in preparation of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and budgeting process.
- Assist in monthly forecasting, variance analysis, and financial performance tracking.
- Prepare Monthly MIS reports and financial dashboards for management review.
- Develop Executive/Board Deck presentations summarizing financial performance, key insights, and business outlook.
- Monitor and track key business KPIs to ensure alignment with financial targets and strategic goals.
- Partner with Business Heads and functional teams to identify cost optimization opportunities and implement margin improvement initiatives.
- Perform financial analysis, scenario modelling, and trend analysis to support business decisions.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data used in reporting and analysis.
- Support ad-hoc financial analysis and strategic initiatives as required by leadership.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) processes.
- Experience working with client FP&A or business finance teams within the IT services industry.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (financial modelling, pivot tables, dashboards, complex formulas).
- Ability to analyze financial data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Working knowledge of Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
- Strong PowerPoint / presentation skills for executive and board-level reporting.
- Experience in margin analysis, cost optimization, and profitability improvement initiatives.
