Financial Planner

A Chartered Financial Planning firm are looking for a Financial Planner to take over a portfolio of clients from a retiring adviser. The clients are primarily in the Preston to Bolton area, with some in Liverpool and Cumbria. Portfolios are from £250k to £5m. Full paraplanning and administration support is provided.

Role

• Working closely with the Senior Planner to transition the portfolio across to you.
• Attending meetings to discuss how you will work with the clients and providing holistic financial planning.
• Demonstrating a full understanding of more complex matters such as SIPP, SSAS, VCT, EIS, SIPP , SSAS and IHT
• Managing portfolios broadly in the £500k to £5m space.
• Understanding the needs of clients who are mainly business and entrepreneurs, but not exclusively so.
• Collaborating with the other financial planners and team members and stakeholders to facilitate business opportunities and to further grow your portfolio.

The candidate

• Diploma Level 4 as a minimum, ideally working towards Chartered
• Experience of working with HNW and UHNW clients
• Developing and maintaining client relationships
