This is a Full-Time Job located in Chennai, India.

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will analyze financial data, build models, and provide insights that drive strategic decisions.

Essential Functions:

Collect and validate financial data from multiple sources.
Month’s closing activity for readying the financials for Reporting
Develop financial models for accounting and tax reporting.
Prepare reports to communicate performance.
Identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Competencies, Skills and Abilities:

Master’s degree in finance & accounting,
5+ years of experience in Accounting, Reporting, financial analysis or data analytics.
Understanding of month-end closing process, Journal entry review, P&L and balance sheet review.
Basic understanding of taxation concepts
Strong Excel skills; experience with macros a plus
Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Experience with NetSuite or other ERP preferred

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field; MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CMA, CPA) is a plus.

5-7 years’ experience in a quantitative / analytical field is required.
