Job Description

We're Hiring for Intralink – A Global Business Development Consultancy

We are excited to be recruiting on behalf of Intralink, an international business development and innovation consultancy that specializes in helping companies expand into global markets. With over 35 years of experience and a presence in more than 20 locations across Asia, Europe, and North America, Intralink partners with startups, scaleups, multinationals, and government agencies to drive international growth, innovation, and sustainability.

Intralink has been recognized with prestigious awards, including the UK's King's Award for Enterprise and the US President's E Award, for its exceptional work in facilitating international business expansion.

Background

Are you someone who enjoys bringing structure, clarity and financial discipline to a fast-moving, international work environment?

Do you thrive at the intersection of finance, people operations and office management?

And do you want to play a pivotal role in supporting a globally connected consulting firm as it grows its footprint in India?

If that’s yes, yes and yes, you may be who we are looking for to join our team.

As we continue to grow our India presence, we are looking for a Finance & Office Manager to take ownership of the India office’s financial operations, HR administration and broader office management. You’ll report directly to the India Managing Director and work closely with our UK headquarters, playing a trusted role in ensuring smooth, compliant and efficient operations on the ground.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be responsible for managing the financial health and operational backbone of Intralink’s India office. Acting as a key point of contact between local operations and UK headquarters, you’ll ensure robust financial controls, accurate reporting, and seamless coordination with external partners.

Accounting & Finance

In your day-to-day, you’ll manage daily bank operations, oversee staff expense claims and reimbursements, and monitor expenditure against approved budgets. You’ll prepare and report monthly management accounts to headquarters, support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting, and provide sound financial advice to the India Managing Director.

You’ll coordinate closely with external accountants and auditors on GST, corporate income tax filings and statutory audits, assist in implementing standard accounting policies, and ensure all financial records are properly maintained. You’ll also manage locally issued client invoices, credit control processes, and staff severance and pension arrangements where applicable.

HR & Payroll Support

You’ll support core HR operations including payroll processing, withholding tax filings and year-end tax settlements. This will include assisting with staff onboarding and offboarding, benefits enrolment, annual health insurance renewals, and responding to employee queries related to salaries and administrative matters.

You’ll maintain accurate personnel and leave records, support recruitment-related logistics such as interviews or job fairs when required, provide documentation for staff visas, and organise mandatory annual training or health check-ups. Ensuring HR compliance and supporting ad-hoc people-related initiatives will also form part of your role.

General Office Administration

You’ll oversee the smooth day-to-day functioning of the India office, including booking co-working spaces and meeting rooms, managing office supplies, arranging business card printing, and acting as the main liaison with building management for maintenance and billing matters.

You’ll support travel and logistics arrangements for senior staff, assist with office relocations when required, coordinate customs clearance for client samples, and ensure company records and documentation are properly maintained. You’ll also stay aware of changes to Indian labour laws to ensure ongoing compliance and help organise board meetings on a yearly or ad-hoc basis.

What you’ll be getting

  • Competitive and negotiable salary, depending on experience
  • 20 days of paid annual leave per year
  • Health insurance coverage
  • A multinational working environment with close collaboration across global offices
  • Exposure to international business operations and senior stakeholders
  • A trusted, high-impact role supporting leadership and business growth in India

What you’ll need

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance, strongly preferred
  • Hands-on experience with accounting systems (NetSuite experience highly desirable)
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial controls and administrative procedures
  • Solid understanding of office management systems and HR administration
  • Excellent organisational, planning and multitasking skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise effectively and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Advanced spoken and written English skills
  • Native or fluent Hindi
