Company Overview:

We are a rapidly growing BPO organization, catering to a global clientele with a strong presence in technology-driven back-office services. We are looking for a dynamic and analytical Finance Manager to lead our financial strategy, accounting operations, and compliance efforts. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in finance and accounting, with a strong grasp of US GAAP, Indian tax laws, and regulatory frameworks, and the ability to manage high-volume financial operations in a fast-paced environment.

Role Objective:

The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s financial health, including planning, reporting, compliance, taxation, budgeting, and revenue management. The role will also involve partnering with department heads to improve business performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis

Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans
Monitor and analyze key financial metrics, trends, and variances
Provide strategic input to leadership on cost control, investment opportunities, and growth planning

Accounting & Compliance

Oversee the full spectrum of accounting operations, including AP/AR, payroll, and general ledger
Ensure timely and accurate closing of books on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
Prepare and present MIS reports, financial statements, and dashboards to senior management
Maintain compliance with US GAAP, Indian GAAP, and internal financial policies

Taxation & Statutory Requirements

Manage all aspects of GST, TDS, corporate tax filings, and other statutory requirements
Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities
Handle internal and statutory audits, including tax assessments and scrutiny cases
Ensure timely filing of returns and remittances across all jurisdictions

Revenue Management & Cost Controls

Review revenue streams, billing models, and profitability for service lines
Ensure accurate revenue recognition and contract-level financial controls
Drive efficiency initiatives to reduce costs and increase margin contributions
Monitor receivables and optimize working capital and cash flow

Team Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration

Lead and mentor a team of finance and accounting professionals
Collaborate with HR, Legal, IT, and Operations teams to support cross-functional initiatives
Drive ERP implementation and automation of finance functions for improved accuracy and efficiency

Desired Candidate Profile:

Qualifications & Experience

Chartered Accountant (CA) is highly preferred
MBA in Finance or equivalent qualification with relevant industry experience
Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in Finance, preferably in the BPO/ITES sector
Proven track record in managing large-scale accounting and financial operations

Skills & Competencies

Deep understanding of US GAAP, Indian Accounting Standards, GST, TDS, and corporate taxation
Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis
Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks)
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
High attention to detail, ethics, and integrity in financial reporting
