Role and Responsibilities:

As a Finance Manager at Cosmofeed, you'll be more than a bean counter. You'll be a strategic navigator, helping steer the company's financial direction and contributing to our collective success. Here's what you'll be spearheading:

1. Operational Excellence:

• Manage the company's financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems.
• Preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cashflow statements.
• Innovate by designing and setting up dynamic business dashboards, unveiling key insights to drive growth.
• Build and cultivate relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, lending partners, and auditors.
• Ensure meticulous compliance with financial and tax reporting, leaving no room for error.
• Investor relations and fundraising compliance.
• Preparing monthly MIS for Board and shareholder discussions

2. Strategic Initiatives:

• Harness your financial acumen to conduct regular analysis, unearthing trends, opportunities, and risks.
• Lead the annual business plan creation and monitor operational performance against targets.
• Collaborate with department heads to establish budgets and controls that drive efficiency.

3. Compliance and Governance:

• Establish and uphold financial policies and procedures that align with industry standards and regulations.
• Ensure seamless statutory compliances and payments, from TDS to GST and Income Tax.
• Expertly handle audits and secretarial processes, showcasing your organizational finesse.

4. Leadership and Team Empowerment:

• Captain the finance and accounting team, orchestrating their growth through recruitment, training, and performance management.
• Serve as a beacon of financial expertise, guiding your team with clarity and purpose.

Qualifications:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant with proven track record of success.
• Prior experience in funded startups (especially fintech) will be a strong advantage.
• A strategic mindset that thrives on identifying opportunities, mitigating risks, and driving growth.
• Proficiency in financial analysis and interpretation, translating data into actionable insights.
• Exceptional leadership skills, enabling you to inspire, guide, and manage your team.
• Adept at navigating complexities, whether they're financial regulations or investor relations.
