POSITION DETAILS

Designation: Manager

Business Unit: Corporate FunctionsFunction: FinanceLocation: MumbaiReporting to: Senior Vice President & Head - Global Controlling, Finance

ROLE OVERVIEW/ PURPOSE

The Manager Finance will be responsible for overseeing the quarterly limited review and annual statutory audit by consolidating financial data across all subsidiaries, divisions, and locations. The role involves ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, Ind AS, IFRS, and Company Law. A deep functional understanding of ERP (SAP) systems is essential for generating accurate reports and supporting strategic financial decisions. The role demands strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and cross-functional collaboration.


Role - Activities, Accountabilities and Responsibilities


1. Manage quarterly limited reviews and annual statutory audits by consolidating financial data across all business units.

2. Ensure full compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), IFRS, and Companies Act requirements.

3. Analyze and interpret accounting entries and processes within the SAP ERP system to understand the financial flow and optimize reporting outputs.

4. Prepare and review accurate and timely financial reports and statements as per regulatory and internal requirements.

5. Act as a liaison between internal teams, external auditors, and regulatory bodies during audits and financial inspections.

6. Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy, transparency, and efficiency in financial reporting.

7. Maintain and monitor internal controls to ensure data integrity and compliance across locations.

8. Support management with analytical reports and MIS for decision-making.


DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE

Educational Qualifications

  • Chartered Accountant (CA)
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)


Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of experience
  • Preference for candidates with experience in the pharmaceutical industry or large-scale manufacturing sectors.


Knowledge and Skills (Functional / Technical)

  • Strong expertise in SAP (especially in finance and reporting modules)
  • In-depth understanding of Ind AS, IFRS, and Companies Act
  • Ability to analyze financial systems, processes, and reporting frameworks
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
