Finance Intern

About The Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Finance Intern to join our Finance team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical exposure to accounting, financial operations, compliance, and vendor management in a fast-paced fintech startup. You will work closely with experienced finance professionals and contribute to day-to-day financial processes while building a strong foundation in corporate finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining books of accounts and recording daily financial transactions.
• Support the preparation and reconciliation of bank statements, invoices, and expense reports.
• Help process vendor onboarding, payments, and documentation.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and MIS.
• Support statutory compliance activities, including GST, TDS, and other regulatory filings.
• Assist with payroll inputs, employee reimbursements, and financial reconciliations.
• Maintain financial records, invoices, and supporting documentation in an organized manner.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to collect financial information and resolve discrepancies.
• Help identify opportunities to improve finance processes and operational efficiency.
• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and other tasks assigned by the Finance team.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Candidates pursuing CA or MBA (Finance) are encouraged to apply.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Eagerness to learn and work in a dynamic startup environment.
