We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Finance Director to lead financial operations for a high-growth Web3 venture. In this remote role, you will oversee treasury management, budgeting, and reporting across both fiat and crypto environments, ensuring the organisation operates efficiently and sustainably. You will partner closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to align financial strategy with long-term organisational goals, while helping build a scalable finance infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone with a mix of traditional finance expertise and crypto knowledge, capable of making data-driven decisions in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Your contributions will directly impact the venture’s growth, stability, and ability to deliver transformative digital experiences globally.

Accountabilities

Build, optimise, and manage the organisation’s financial operations infrastructure.
Oversee fiat and crypto treasury management, including diversification and risk strategies.
Manage invoices, payments, reimbursements, and working capital across multiple currencies.
Develop and maintain budgets, cash flow projections, and financial models to support growth.
Prepare management, corporate, and regulatory financial statements for internal and external reporting.
Maintain and improve finance SOPs, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to align financial strategy with business objectives.
Identify financial risks and opportunities, recommending mitigation or growth strategies.

Requirements

Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (CPA, CFA, or advanced degree preferred).
5+ years of experience in financial management, preferably in startup or venture environments.
Strong expertise in financial modelling, budgeting, reporting, and treasury management.
Experience designing and maintaining financial SOPs and compliance frameworks.
Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills with experience in cross-functional collaboration.
Knowledge of Web3 and crypto finance, including payments and digital assets.
