Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Design Manager located in Coimbatore. The Design Manager will lead the design team in planning and executing projects, oversee the development of technical drawings and specifications, and ensure compliance with industry standards and certifications. Responsibilities include managing the design process from conceptualization through to approval, coordinating with clients and stakeholders, providing technical guidance, and ensuring projects adhere to quality, efficiency, and timelines.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in design software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, PV Elite, ANSYS, HTRI, and STAAD Pro
• Experience in engineering design related to Heat Exchangers, Pressure Vessels, and Process Skids
• Strong project management and leadership skills
• Knowledge of industry standards, certifications, and codes such as ASME, ISO, and API
• Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in design and engineering contexts
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline; Master's degree is a plus
• 5+ years of professional experience in a design or engineering leadership role, preferably within manufacturing or related industries
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
