Role Overview

We’re looking for a Finance Analyst (3–4 years experience) who can go beyond reporting and actively support decision-making, forecasting, and business performance. This role sits at the intersection of finance, data, and strategy, working closely with leadership on key business metrics.

What you’ll do

Reporting to our Head of Finance based in the UK, you'll perform monthly forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis. Track key business drivers including revenue, margins, payment volumes, and take rates. Support cash flow forecasting and runway planning. Analyse performance across merchant cohorts, payment methods (UPI vs cards), pricing, and margins.

Translate data into clear, actionable insights for leadership. Support fundraising, investor reporting, and board materials. Build financial models including scenarios, pricing, and unit economics. Work on strategic projects such as new products, pricing changes, and market expansion. Own monthly reporting packs and improve reporting processes in Excel/Google Sheets. Work with ops and product teams to ensure data accuracy.

What we’re looking for

• 3–4 years experience in finance, FP&A, or analytics. Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills. Ability to structure messy data and build models from scratch.
• High attention to detail.
• We care most about people who think in first principles, can identify what’s actually driving a number, are comfortable with ambiguity, can work independently, and communicate clearly.
• Nice to have: experience in fintech/payments/SaaS, SQL or basic data skills, CA/CFA (or progress towards it).

What won’t work

• Pure accounting or bookkeeping background.
• Only experience with static reporting.
• Candidates who need heavy hand-holding.
