Job Title: Finance & Accounts- Sr Executive/ Assistant Manager


Location: Mohali SEZ

Department: Finance & Accounts 


Job Summary 


We are looking for an experienced Accountant to manage financial operations, ensure compliance with statutory regulations, and handle accounting activities related to companies operating in the Special Economic Zone (SEZ). The role involves maintaining financial records, managing taxation, and ensuring compliance with SEZ rules and regulations. 


Key Responsibilities 


Accounting & Financial Management 


  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger. 
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. 
  • Ensure proper bookkeeping, journal entries, and reconciliation of accounts. 
  • Handle bank reconciliation, vendor reconciliation, and balance sheet review. 


SEZ Compliance 

  • Ensure compliance with SEZ regulations and documentation requirements. 
  • Manage SEZ related filings, documentation, and approvals with relevant authorities. 
  • Coordinate with customs/SEZ authorities for import and export related documentation. 


Taxation & Statutory Compliance 


  • Request to Expedite Resignation Process


Audit & Reporting 

  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits. 
  • Prepare financial reports and MIS reports for management review. 
  • Monitor financial transactions and ensure compliance with company policies. 

Process Improvement 


  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and internal controls. 
  • Ensure accurate financial data and maintain compliance with accounting standards. 


Qualifications 


  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter preferred). 
  • 4–8 years of experience in accounting or finance roles. 
  • Experience working with SEZ companies or export/import accounting will be an advantage. 
  • Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, financial reporting, and Indian accounting standards. 


Skills Required 

  • Proficiency in Tally / ERP systems and MS Excel 
  • Strong understanding of SEZ compliance and taxation 
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills 
  • Good communication and coordination abilities
