Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Construction Material Tester to join our team, supporting quality assurance and compliance across various construction projects. The successful candidate will perform comprehensive testing and analysis of construction materials to ensure they meet industry standards, project specifications, and safety regulations. This role is vital in maintaining the integrity of construction processes and delivering durable, high-quality structures.

Duties

Conduct laboratory tests on construction materials such as concrete, soil, asphalt, and masonry to assess their properties and suitability for project requirements.
Perform on-site inspections to verify material compliance with contract specifications and safety standards.
Collect and analyze data related to material strength, durability, and performance for reporting purposes.
Assist with quality control procedures during construction activities, including concrete forming and masonry work.
Document test results accurately and prepare detailed reports for project managers and clients.
Support construction inspection processes by verifying material delivery conditions and storage practices.
Collaborate with construction teams to resolve material-related issues promptly and effectively.
Maintain laboratory equipment, calibrate testing devices, and ensure adherence to safety protocols.

Requirements

ACI Certification.
Prior laboratory experience in testing construction materials or related fields preferred.
Knowledge of construction practices, including concrete forming, masonry techniques, and site inspection procedures.
Strong understanding of quality control processes within the construction industry.
Excellent data collection, analysis skills, and attention to detail.
Experience with quality inspection standards and documentation practices.
Familiarity with contracts related to material specifications and project scope.
Ability to work effectively on construction sites while maintaining safety standards.
Good communication skills for reporting findings clearly to team members and stakeholders.
