Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Field Service Engineer in the POS industry, based in Mumbai. The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and servicing POS terminals and related financial technology devices. Daily tasks will include troubleshooting technical issues, performing preventive maintenance, providing hands-on technical support, and ensuring excellent customer service. The engineer will collaborate with customers to address inquiries, resolve equipment-related issues promptly, and ensure continued operational efficiency. Qualifications Field Service skills, including experience with the installation, repair, and maintenance of POS devices or similar equipment Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose and resolve equipment issues effectively Preventive Maintenance expertise to ensure operational reliability and minimize downtime Customer Service skills to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and provide top-tier support Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges Relevant diploma or degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related fields is a plus Experience in the payment/financial technology industry is advantageous Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and adapt to dynamic situations
