Field Service Engineer

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Field Service Engineer based in Shimoga. The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing dialysis-related medical equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. The role also involves diagnosing technical issues, providing routine maintenance, preparing accurate service reports, and coordinating with the clinical team to improve patient care through reliable equipment functionality.

• Strong technical expertise in troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of medical or electronic equipment
• Experience working with diagnostic tools and understanding of equipment performance standards
• Proficiency in documentation, preparing service reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in dynamic environments
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clinical teams and provide professional support
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field
• Prior experience in the healthcare or medical device industry is a plus
• Willingness to travel locally as required to provide on-site support
