Surveyor / Field Quality Engineer (Civil – Solar Rooftop)

Job Title: Field Quality Engineer – Civil (Solar Rooftop)

Total Experience: 10 – 12 Years

CTC: ₹65,500 + Travel Conveyance + Accommodation

Qualification & Experience

• B.E / B.Tech (Civil): 3 – 5 Years OR
• Diploma (Civil): 5 – 7 Years
• Industry Preference: Solar EPC, Rooftop Solar, Power, or Infrastructure Projects
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce QA/QC practices at site for civil, mechanical, and electrical works.
• Conduct incoming material inspections for structural steel, fasteners, mounting systems, cables, and related materials.
• Verify site execution as per approved drawings, BOQs, specifications, and method statements.
• Perform stage-wise inspections for foundations, structures, module mounting, earthing, cabling, terminations, and testing.
• Identify Non-Conformities (NCRs) and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain inspection checklists, test reports, MIRs, and quality records for audits and handover.
• Coordinate with execution teams, design teams, and client/customer inspectors for joint inspections and approvals.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, client standards, and safety norms.
• Support pre-commissioning, testing, and final quality certification prior to project handover.
• Prepare Daily Quality Reports (DQRs) and support project MIS activities.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with customer and third-party inspections.
• Knowledge of earthing systems, IR testing, continuity tests, and torque audits.
• Familiarity with PEB, RCC, and metal rooftop installations.
• Exposure to ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems is an added advantage.
