Job Description
PROGRAM DETAILS
Parinaam’s Academic Adoption Programme is designed to transform the lives of desperately poor children by providing them access to high quality education in English medium schools through academic scholarships funded by sponsors and to become economically empowered citizens of tomorrow. Through the program, we support the direct education cost of the children as well as support them through other interventions in the areas of education, financial literacy, access to financial services, healthcare and social support. Our program is inclusive of the entire family as we help the parents with livelihood, healthcare and access to financial services. We have enrolled over 1500 children through this program.
The Programme Associate for the Parinaam’s Academic Adoption Programme is responsible for the on-ground execution of the programme in line with the present goals and the long-term vison of the programme.

Desired Qualification
M.A/D.Ed/B.Ed/Experience in Education Project
Desired Experience
2 years of experience in the field of education projects.
Should Willing to work with children in Urban poor communities.
Functional Knowledge And Skills
(Knowledge and skills needed for satisfactory performance of the job)4-5
Stakeholder management and ability to handle field work with minimal supervision.
Record Keeping & Zoho Management.
Team player and should have a natural flair to engage in open communications.
Language proficiency in Kannada.
BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES
Ability and interest to work in the NGO sector.
A forward looking aptitude, resourcefulness and ability to take initiative.
Highly Organized, meticulous and ability to multitask.
Skills: stakeholder management,training,record keeping,document management,field coordination,financial literacy,training program development

Role & Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
Implementing Program Activities On
- Education Conducting meetings with the students in the field. Tracking academic performance of children. Support the students to apply for scholarships in different portals. To coordinate for other academic support for the children (tutions, remedial classes etc.).
- Health Coordinating for health awareness sessions. Conducting health camp.
- Livelihood Self employment training for beneficiaries, Enrolling youth for skill training, Job facilitation for beneficiaries and Youths.
- Financial Literacy Conducting training on financial literacy. Conducting meeting the parents in the field. Monthly planning and scheduling of program activities for the assigned communities. Timely submission of bills for accounts. External Coordination and Communication Working relationships with the school authorities, local authorities and other partners like hospitals for effective implementation of the program.
- Reporting Updating database (ZOHO) in regular intervals. Ensure weekly & monthly review meetings with the Program Manager & Program Director Adhere to timelines for all official communications & documentations.
- KEY INTERACTIONS (Who does this position interact with on a regular basis to perform this role?) Internal Interface External Interface Beneficiaries – Women & Children Partner Organizations like schools, financial institutions, hospitals, NGOs etc. The Urban Ultra Poor Team, Accounts Team,
