Performs end-to-end OSP fiber network engineering by delivering cost-effective, high-quality designs aligned with customer guidelines, timelines, and budgets, while leading feasibility analysis, technical mentorship, process improvements, ownership of deliverables, and acting as a technical point of contact to ensure efficient and scalable project execution.

What will your job look like?

• Performs all aspects of OSP engineering for fiber projects according to customer requirements and guidelines.
• Designs OSP network activities within construction budgets.
• Works within customer systems to produce a cost-effective engineering design for the construction team.
• Should be able to do the feasibility analysis to plan the optimal fiber network with the high-quality standards within given timeline.
• Serves as Fiber network expert, provides mentorship/knowledge transfer to the team members.
• Provide support to the team members and work with mapped team members to increase their efficiency and quality.
• Take ownership, set the priorities, support daily deliverables, and deliver quality product to the customer.
• Should be able to support as Technical POC as per requirements.
• Should be able to take initiative and have the capability to start & close any new scope of work.
• Provide inputs to strengthen the existing process and give ideas for automation.
• Availability as per business requirements to support delivery.
• Open to take new roles and responsibilities if assigned by the managers as per business needs.
  
  

All you need is...

Critical Experience

• 5-8 year of experience in Fiber network design engineering in ASE, F2, Green Field/DFIB, F1/F3 scope of work.
• Preferred experience with AT&T and added advantage if experience of Ziply, LUMEN, Google Fiber etc.
• Experience working tools: Aramis, IQGEO, Waldo, QGIS, ArcgGIS, 3GIS, CGIS, SpatialNet, Comscof, NDS, Frogs, AutoCAD, FMS, OCALC, Smallworld, Netwin, WebGIS
