Position Overview
India Health Link Pvt Ltd is seeking a motivated and capable Factory Manager to oversee operations at our medical device manufacturing facility in Vishakhapatnam.
The Factory Manager will be responsible for managing day-to-day manufacturing operations, including production planning, PCB assembly processes, quality control, vendor coordination, and regulatory compliance.
This role requires strong people management skills, operational discipline, and the ability to maintain high quality standards within a regulated medical device manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Factory Operations Management
Oversee daily manufacturing operations including production planning, scheduling, material flow, and logistics.
Ensure efficient use of manpower, machinery, and resources to meet production targets.
Monitor production performance and drive improvements in operational efficiency.
PCB Assembly & Manufacturing Oversight
Manage manufacturing processes including PCB assembly, electronic integration, device assembly, and testing.
Ensure manufacturing processes follow technical specifications and quality requirements.
Coordinate with engineering teams for product improvements and new product introductions.
Quality & Regulatory Compliance
Ensure compliance with medical device quality standards such as ISO 13485 and CDSCO regulatory requirements.
Maintain quality control procedures across incoming materials, in-process checks, and final product testing.
Support regulatory inspections, audits, and documentation processes.
Team Leadership & People Management
Lead and supervise production supervisors, technicians, and factory staff.
Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive working environment.
Provide training and guidance to improve team performance and productivity.
Supply Chain & Vendor Management
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely supply of raw materials and electronic components.
Monitor supplier performance and maintain reliable supply chains for production.
Cost & Efficiency Management
Monitor manufacturing costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
Optimize material usage, inventory levels, and production processes.
Safety & Compliance
Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and factory operational standards.
Promote a safe working environment through proper procedures and employee awareness.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electronics, Manufacturing, or Operations Management.
5–7 years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in medical devices, electronics manufacturing, or PCB assembly.
Experience managing production teams in a manufacturing environment.
