Company Description ImpactGuru.com is a crowdfunding platform founded in 2014 and incubated at the Harvard Innovation Lab, USA. The organization focuses on empowering people to raise funds for critical medical emergencies such as Covid-19, cancer, and organ transplants. ImpactGuru also supports nonprofits in fundraising for their programs and helps individuals raise money for animal welfare, education, and other personal causes. The platform is designed to make fundraising accessible, transparent, and impactful for both beneficiaries and contributors.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Face-To-Face Fundraiser role based in Bengaluru. The fundraiser will engage directly with potential donors in public spaces, events, and partner venues to explain ImpactGuru’s mission and ongoing campaigns. Daily responsibilities include presenting fundraising initiatives clearly, answering donor questions, and inspiring individuals to contribute to medical, nonprofit, and personal causes. The role involves meeting activity and fundraising targets, maintaining accurate records of donor interactions, and collaborating with the team to improve outreach strategies. The fundraiser will also support campaign promotions, participate in training sessions, and uphold ethical and compliant fundraising practices.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong communication, interpersonal, and persuasion skills for engaging donors face-to-face.

• Candidates should possess adaptability, resilience, and goal-oriented work habits to thrive in field-based fundraising.
• Prior experience in fundraising, sales, nonprofit work, or field marketing is an advantage.
• Comfort working in public spaces and traveling locally within Bengaluru as required.
• Minimum educational qualification: High school diploma; a bachelor’s degree in any field is preferred.
