We’re Hiring – Assistant Manager (Fabric Sourcing & Procurement)

💼 Experience: 6+ years in Apparel/Fashion Retail Fabric Sourcing

Role Description

• Zink London is looking for a dynamic and result-oriented professional to join our Sourcing & Production team. This role is at the heart of our material sourcing operations, bridging design concepts with bulk production through strong vendor networks, cost optimization, and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-end sourcing of diverse fabric categories (Woven, Knits, Prints, Western blends).
• Vendor & mill management across India/China – negotiation, closures, capacity booking.
• Cross-functional coordination with Design & Product Development teams.
• Aggressive costing & budgeting to ensure healthy margins.
• Quality & timeline control with strict TNA adherence.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment, attention to detail, and a commitment to ethical, sustainable sourcing practices are highly valued.
• Beneficial qualifications include experience in apparel or textile sourcing, knowledge of fabric types and production processes, and familiarity with supply chain management tools or ERP systems.
• A diploma or degree in Fashion Design, Textile Technology, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field, along with prior experience in fabric sourcing or procurement, will be an advantage.
• Candidates should possess Contract Negotiation skills to secure favorable terms, manage agreements, and support cost-effective sourcing.
• Candidates should possess Procurement skills to handle vendor selection, purchase orders, inventory coordination, and supply chain documentation.
