Job Description
Thinktank IFSC Private Limited is seeking experienced Market Makers to join our global derivatives trading desk. The role involves providing continuous two-sided liquidity across major derivatives exchanges including CME, ICE, Eurex and other leading venues.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of derivatives microstructure, risk management, and automated or semi-automated market making strategies across futures and options products.
This position is designed for professional traders with prior exchange market-making experience who are capable of independently managing quoting strategies, inventory risk, and execution in fast-moving markets.
Key Responsibilities- Provide continuous two-sided quotes in listed derivatives across exchanges such as CME, ICE, and other global venues.
- Manage inventory risk and position limits while maintaining tight bid-ask spreads.
- Develop and optimize systematic or semi-systematic market making strategies across futures, options, and spreads.
- Monitor order book dynamics, liquidity, and volatility regimes to adjust quoting strategies in real time.
- Work with the technology team to improve execution algorithms, spreaders, and trading infrastructure.
- Identify arbitrage opportunities and microstructure inefficiencies across related instruments and exchanges.
- Ensure compliance with exchange messaging policies, market conduct rules, and internal risk limits.
- Collaborate with risk and operations teams to maintain efficient trading workflows and capital usage.
- 3–7+ years of professional trading experience in market making or high-frequency trading.
- Proven experience quoting on exchanges such as CME, ICE, Eurex, or similar derivatives venues.
- Strong understanding of futures, options, spreads, and derivatives pricing.
- Experience with professional trading platforms such as Trading Technologies (TT), TT ADL, CQG, or similar systems.
- Demonstrated ability to manage high message-rate quoting strategies and inventory risk.
- Strong analytical and quantitative mindset with the ability to react quickly to market changes.
- Familiarity with exchange market-making programs and compliance requirements is preferred.
- Experience trading equity index, rates, energy, or commodity derivatives.
- Knowledge of statistical arbitrage, spread trading, or volatility trading.
- Familiarity with automated trading strategies and API-based execution.
- Ability to analyse market data and refine quoting logic.
