Executive Assistant to CEO
Job Summary
Capital Goods & Strategic Skill Council (CGSSC) is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and professional Executive Assistant to the CEO to provide strategic and administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer. The role requires exceptional coordination, communication, stakeholder management, and multitasking abilities to ensure the smooth functioning of the CEO’s office.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Support
- Manage the CEO’s calendar, appointments, meetings, travel plans, and priorities.
- Coordinate day-to-day activities and ensure effective time management for the CEO.
- Handle correspondence, emails, and communication on behalf of the CEO.
Meeting & Stakeholder Management
- Organize meetings, prepare agendas, presentations, and briefing notes.
- Record minutes of meetings and track action points for timely closure.
- Serve as a key liaison between the CEO, Board members, government officials, industry partners, and internal teams.
Documentation & Reporting
- Draft, review, and manage official correspondence, reports, presentations, and strategic documents.
- Maintain records, confidential documents, and executive files with accuracy and discretion.
- Support preparation of management reports, proposals, and presentations.
Coordination & Project Support
- Monitor follow-ups on key organizational initiatives and strategic projects.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely execution of assignments and deliverables.
- Assist the CEO in special projects, events, stakeholder engagements, and high-level meetings.
Qualifications & Skills
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Communications, or a related field.
- MBA or Postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 3–7 years of experience as an Executive Assistant, Executive Coordinator, or similar role supporting senior leadership.
- Experience in the skill development, education, manufacturing, non-profit, or government ecosystem will be preferred.
Core Competencies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, planning, and multitasking abilities.
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and virtual collaboration tools.
- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Profile
- Experience working with senior executives, government stakeholders, or industry leaders.
- Strong drafting, presentation, and coordination skills.
- Ability to anticipate requirements, solve problems proactively, and drive timely execution of tasks.
