Responsible for ensuring the readiness of the trading platform by executing and monitoring critical Beginning of Day (BOD) risk and operational processes. The role focuses on timely process completion, accurate reconciliation, prompt issue resolution, and adherence to regulatory and internal compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Execute all BOD activities, including billing, pay-in/pay-out, settlement, margin updates, and client ledger updates within defined timelines.
Perform daily reconciliation with exchanges, depositories, banks, and clearing corporations, and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Monitor BOD processes, identify risk and operational exceptions, and coordinate with Operations, Technology, Finance, and Exchange teams for timely resolution.
Validate successful completion of scheduled jobs, perform quality checks, and escalate critical issues as per the escalation matrix.
Ensure compliance with SEBI, Exchange, and internal operational policies while maintaining complete documentation and audit readiness.

Requirements

Shift Timings: 5AM – 2PM
Proficiency in MS Excel, including advanced functions (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data validation, etc.).
Strong knowledge of compliance regulations and guidelines related to stockbroking.
High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
