The Ethical Hacking Intern will support the Cybersecurity team in learning and assisting with end-to-end penetration testing activities across network infrastructure, web applications, mobile applications, and wireless environments. The role includes coordinating penetration testing requests, identifying security weaknesses, reviewing security fixes, preparing quality assessment reports, and supporting the automation of routine cybersecurity tasks through programming or scripting.

The intern will also gain exposure to vulnerability research, security threat monitoring, and corporate security practices, while developing strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in a professional cybersecurity environment.

Role Purpose

  • Learn to manage and operate penetration end-to-end

  • Good skill in programming and/or scripting


Responsibilities

  • Learn to coordinate, manage, and organize the incoming penetration testing requests
  • Learn to review and deliver quality penetration testing report.
  • Learn to automate boring routine tasks and make existing process faster & better.
  • Learn to perform penetration tests on at least one of the domains - network infrastructure, web application/services, mobile applications, and wireless network
  • Learn to search for weaknesses in common software, proprietary systems, and third-party libraries/dependencies.
  • Learn to research, review, and provide feedback for security fixes
  • Learn to be sensitive in corporate consideration when performing testing, ranking vulnerabilities, and reporting
  • Learn to stay updated on the latest malware and security threats


Requirements

  • Mandatory Language Skill: Good reading, written and spoken proficiency in English
  • Attitude: Organized, good with analytical skill and problem solving
