Role Description The Escrow Secretary role at BLACKBULL LAW HOUSE is a full-time, on-site position based in New Delhi. The Escrow Secretary will manage escrow files, prepare and review documents related to closings, maintain accurate records, and coordinate with internal legal teams, clients, financial institutions, and other stakeholders. Responsibilities include organizing and tracking escrow transactions, ensuring compliance with firm procedures and relevant regulations, scheduling and supporting closing appointments, and facilitating timely disbursement of funds and documentation. The role also involves responding to inquiries, providing clear information to clients and partners, and supporting the firm’s overall transactional workflow with a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of escrow processes and procedures, with experience handling escrow accounts and related documentation.
  • Experience supporting real estate or corporate transaction closings, including coordinating timelines and preparing closing packages.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, colleagues, and external parties.
  • Notary skills or eligibility to obtain notary authorization, along with familiarity with notarization standards and practices.
  • Ability to maintain organized records, manage multiple files simultaneously, and ensure accuracy under deadlines.
  • Proficiency with office software, document management systems, and basic financial or accounting tools used in escrow work.
  • Prior experience in a law firm, title company, or financial services environment is preferred.
  • Relevant diploma or degree in business, law, finance, or a related field is beneficial.
