Role Description The Escrow Banking Expert is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi, responsible for managing and overseeing escrow accounts related to corporate transactions and legal matters. This role involves coordinating with banks, clients, and internal legal teams to open, structure, and maintain escrow arrangements in accordance with regulatory requirements and firm policies. The Escrow Banking Expert will monitor fund movements, prepare and review documentation, ensure accurate record keeping, and support transaction closings. Daily tasks include risk assessment of escrow structures, responding to client and stakeholder queries, and ensuring timely resolution of operational issues. The role also requires collaboration with attorneys on deal structures, contributing to process improvements, and maintaining strong relationships with financial institutions to support efficient escrow services.
Qualifications

• Strong finance and credit skills, including experience with escrow accounts, transactional banking, and risk assessment.
• Solid understanding of insurance concepts and their application in securing and mitigating risks in corporate transactions.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with clients, banks, and internal teams.
• Prior experience in escrow services, corporate banking, or financial operations within a law firm or corporate environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of relevant banking regulations, compliance standards, and documentation requirements for escrow arrangements.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, law, or a related field; advanced certifications in banking or finance are an advantage.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work on-site in New Delhi and manage multiple transactions and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
