Position Overview

Location:  Kia India Pvt., Ltd., Penukonda Mandal, Sri Sathyasai District,

Formally (Anantapur District), Andhra Pradesh

Qualification: MBA, MHRM, MSW

Designation: Dy. Manager ~ Manager– Team Member

Reporting To: Head of Section [ER- Planning]

Function: Employee Relations & Public Affairs

Experience: Minimum 08-14 Years of experience in Grievance Handling & Conflict Resolution, Employee Engagement & Welfare Programs, Public Relations & Stakeholder Management etc

Key Responsibilities

1. Employee Relations

  • Grievance Management: Proactively engage with employees through regular shop floor interactions to understand grievances, facilitate discussions with management, and ensure timely and effective resolution of employee concerns.
  • Employee Engagement: Plan, organize, and execute employee engagement initiatives such as sports tournaments, cultural events, film festivals, employee welfare programs, and recognition activities to enhance employee morale, engagement, and workplace culture.
  • Domestic Enquiries & Disciplinary Management: Conduct domestic enquiries and investigations related to employee misconduct, grievances, disciplinary issues, and workplace complaints while ensuring adherence to the principles of natural justice and company policies.
  • Employee Relations Training: Develop and deliver training and awareness sessions on employee relations, workplace policies, disciplinary procedures, code of conduct, and organizational values.
  • Statutory & Labour Law Compliance: Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, statutory regulations, standing orders, and internal policies by maintaining required documentation and coordinating with internal stakeholders.
  • Industrial Relations: Maintain harmonious industrial relations by building effective relationships with employees, employee representatives, and management. Support conflict resolution initiatives and promote a positive work environment.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with department heads, HR teams, plant leadership, and external agencies to implement employee relations initiatives and resolve workplace issues efficiently.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of grievances, disciplinary cases, employee engagement activities, statutory compliance, and public relations initiatives. Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and management presentations.
