Role Description The English and Social Science Educator at Supernova Learning Center 2.0 will design and deliver engaging lessons that align with the center’s curriculum and examination requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and conducting English and Social Science classes, preparing lesson plans and teaching aids, assessing student progress through assignments and tests, and providing constructive feedback to support improvement. The educator will collaborate with other faculty members to ensure consistent academic standards, participate in student mentoring, and help prepare learners for board and competitive exams. This is a part-time, on-site role based in Rajkot, requiring regular classroom presence and active participation in the center’s academic activities.

Qualifications

  • Strong subject knowledge in English language, literature, and Social Science (History, Civics, Geography), with the ability to teach students at school and early competitive exam levels.
  • Skills in lesson planning, classroom management, and student assessment, including the use of varied teaching strategies to support different learning styles.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly, motivate learners, and interact professionally with students and families.
  • Comfort with using educational technology, online learning platforms, and digital resources to enhance teaching and support the center’s blended learning approach.
  • Relevant academic background, such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Education, English, Social Sciences, or a related field; prior teaching or coaching experience is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work in a structured coaching environment focused on board and competitive exam preparation, with a commitment to student success and continuous professional growth.
