About the Role:

One of our clients is hiring for an experienced engineering leader to manage and develop a high-performing team within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is focused on driving maintenance excellence, improving equipment reliability, and supporting operational performance across the site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and develop the engineering team to drive performance
• Manage contractors and maintenance suppliers through performance reviews
• Ensure delivery of planned maintenance schedules through effective resource planning
• Analyse CMMS data to support forward planning and equipment improvements
• Drive maintenance excellence, reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA/5 Why) and implement solutions
• Support Operational Excellence, 5S, and FMECA activities
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve business performance
• Promote and maintain strong Health & Safety standards

Ideal Qualifications:

• Proven engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience leading and managing engineering teams
• Strong knowledge of process equipment and P&IDs
• Background in high-volume, fast-paced operations
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with continuous improvement and operational excellence tools
