As part of our growing presence in India, we are building a strong Development & IT organization to complement our global engineering teams. To support this ambition, we are looking for an Engineering Manager to join our Big Data team.

As an Engineering Manager, you will lead Big Data platform development teams to deliver on the product roadmap while working closely with key stakeholders. You will play a critical role in hiring and onboarding new team members, nurturing talent, and developing clear career growth plans for engineers within the team.

• Prioritize, delegate and supervise all engineers’ activities and deliverables following on the Adform best practices and standards.
• Manage, support, and evaluate engineers’ performance.
• Provide input in strategic technical decisions and solutions, when needed.
• Communicate and collaborate with other managers and stakeholders keeping them aligned on the delivery status.
• Ensure Adform values are being followed by the team members.

We hope you are ready to change the game! Be ready to:

• We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 7 years of experience as a Java Developer or QA Engineer, along with at least 2 years of proven experience as an Engineering Manager leading and managing a development team.
• Able to understand technical topics/terminologies of Java/Scala stream processing, ETL, Backend API
• Knowledge of Kafka and Kubernetes is a plus
• Must have worked on micro services architecture.
• Ability to provide technical guidance to development team during solution implementation.
