Job Summary
As a Checking Engineer, one will check moderately complex design & drawings for completeness, accuracy, and conformance to established Engineering Standards and practices.
What You Will Do:
Bachelor’s degree in an accredited Mechanical Engineering curriculum
Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.

Job Summary
As a Checking Engineer, one will check moderately complex design & drawings for completeness, accuracy, and conformance to established Engineering Standards and practices.
What You Will Do:
- Review design layouts/3D models that graphically show how the product is to function.
- Check assembly and piece part drawings that further break down the consist of the product definition
- Collaborate with Engineering Design Team
- Ensure Engineering notices are filled out properly and that they convey all necessary information for downstream processing
- Confer with design personnel to answer the questions pertaining to engineering practices and standards
- Provide counsel and advice to design control personnel on potential problems during design review phase
- Keep abreast of changes that are made to Corporate Product and Process Standards.
Bachelor’s degree in an accredited Mechanical Engineering curriculum
- 3 to 5 years Engineering experience
- Familiarity with Creo 7.0 or later version for detailing/modelling practices
- Working Knowledge on Teamcenter and Workflow processes.
- Good knowledge of manufacturing and assembly operations
- Good Problem-Solving Skills, Technical Know-how ability & Accountability
- Self-Motivated and ability to communicate effectively
- Preferably ASME Y14.5-2009 Senior or Technologist level Certified GD&T Professional
- Through knowledge of Corporate Product and Process Standards/Specifications
- Strong competency in Sheet metal design / Casting Design and manufacturing processes
