Job Details

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Works with business stakeholders to identify business problems, opportunities and/or initiatives for which analytics models may provide insights that can contribute to or drive the development of an approach or solution
Conceptualizes designs and develops data management solutions in addressing complex business problems using industry best practice data engineering techniques.
Translates data into information and insights with clear scenario analysis and business impact and execution plan to drive impact
Works with other team members to include accurate and relevant data for machine learning models, including identification of potential proxy data sources, and design business analytics solutions, considering current and future needs, infrastructure and security requirements, load frequencies, etc..
Conducts data analysis and designs and develops moderately complex analytic algorithms
Models and frames business scenarios that are meaningful and which impacts critical business processes and/or decisions
Collaborates with subject matter experts to select relevant sources of information, translates business requirements into semantic access, conceptual, logical and/or physical data models
Executes data profiling and preventative procedures to improve data quality; uses technology to extract and analyze raw data
Identifies opportunities and supports the development of automated solutions that will enhance the quality of enterprise data
Codes, tests, debugs and documents complex programs, and enhances existing programs to ensure that data processing production systems continue to meet user requirements
Works to develop the specifications of customer and user specific reports including network exclusions, special circumstances, and custom data elements
Identifies complex areas to solve new technical problems and provides innovative technical solutions within data management platform
When assigned, analyzes data platform to identify areas of improvement and provides innovative technical solutions to optimize and improve performance.
Additional Job Description

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any other related discipline or equivalent related experience.

Preferred Certifications:

Data Analytics Certifications
Data Management/Engineering Certifications in MS SQL, MS Azure
Any BI Tool (PowerBI, Qlik Sense, Tableau etc.) Certifications

WORK EXPERIENCE:

3-4 years of directly related or relevant experience, preferably in healthcare data analytics or data engineering/data management using cloud/on prem technologies such as MS Azure (Synapse, ADF, Logic Apps), MS SQL (SSIS, SSRS)

Experience & Educational Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or any other related discipline or equivalent related experience. 3+ years of directly related or relevant experience, preferably in software designing and development.

Microsoft Certified Engineer

Application/Infrastructure/Enterprise Architect Training and Certification, e.g. TOGAF
