Job Description

At PwC, our people in people operations primarily focus on managing the people lifecycle and the day-to-day operational tasks related to managing employees. This includes activities such as employee onboarding, offboarding, payroll and benefits administration, absence management, employee record-keeping, compliance with labour laws and regulations, and managing employee inquiries and issues. These individuals enable HR processes and systems to run smoothly in order to efficiently support our workforce. In employee relations at PwC, you will focus on maintaining positive relationships between employees and the organisation, fair treatment, and resolving workplace conflicts effectively. You will play a crucial role in fostering a harmonious work environment.

Scope of Responsibility

Grievance Management

  • Administer and govern grievance redressal mechanism as per the firm’s policies and ensure responsible reporting
  • Ensuring timely documentation of all investigation related documentation including MoM, Statements, ER tool updates and timely closures
  • Drive diligent documentation, tracking and monitoring in relation to case investigations while working with related stakeholders
  • Partner with ER Strategy team to effectively manage and evolve processes to enhance employee experience
  • Responsible for all ER tool management and governance assuring rightful documentation
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to effectively manage transitioned cases and ensure appropriate documentation. And timely closure
  • Working knowledge on case management tools

Reporting and Governance

  • Responsible for analysis and reporting of ER matters, as appropriate
  • Monitoring closure of cases within defined timelines
  • Ensure audit preparedness for the team with timely evidence collection and documentation
  • Participate & govern the HC OpEx review for Employee Relations

Policy Management

  • Build and sustain an effective process and discipline around policy management
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure governance and discipline
  • Build scheduled review of the policies & processes and keep abreast with changing employment law landscape and gather industry intelligence
  • Ensure all information is up to date from an audit and compliance standpoint
  • Ensure governance and centralization of documents through effective tool management

Must Haves for the Role

  • A bachelor’s degree, along with working knowledge of labor / employee relations, is a significant plus. MSW / MBA preferred
  • Ability to handle confidential information in a mature and professional manner
  • Proven attention to detail & organized approach
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English
  • Ability to design leadership reports and dashboards. Proficiency in PPT and Reporting
  • Acts with sense of urgency, bias for action, fast pace, and desire to thrive in a dynamically growing environment
  • Be a team player and have the ability to manage a high-pressure environment plus think through the right approach to issues
  • Proven ability to team, collaborate, build, and maintain relationships.

Range Of Impact

  • At least 4 years' experience in employee relations, with a strong background in workplace investigations
  • Understanding and exposure (pref) in managing corporate investigations of complex and confidential workplace complaints.
  • Ability to handle highly sensitive information with absolute confidentiality
