Job Summary

Willware Technologies is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer with strong expertise in motor control and power electronics systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in embedded C programming, RTOS-based systems, and hardware-software integration, particularly in applications involving DC-DC and AC-DC inverter control.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and support embedded software for motor control and power electronics systems.

  • Work on end-to-end product development for systems involving DC-DC converters, AC-DC converters, and inverter control.

  • Develop firmware using C programming for embedded controllers.

  • Implement and manage RTOS-based applications including task scheduling, semaphores, message queues, and mutexes.

  • Work with Renesas microcontrollers (especially RH850) and related development tools such as CS+ IDE.

  • Debug embedded systems using hardware debugging tools such as oscilloscopes (DSO), multimeters, and logic analyzers.

  • Read and analyze hardware schematics to troubleshoot system issues.

  • Ensure effective hardware-software interaction, including interrupt handling and multi-threaded system behavior.

  • Collaborate with hardware, software, and product development teams to ensure system reliability and performance.



Required Skills
  • Strong experience in Embedded C programming.

  • Knowledge of motor control systems and power electronics.

  • Experience with RTOS concepts (tasks, message queues, semaphores, mutexes, task priorities).

  • Experience with Renesas controllers (RH850) and development tools such as CS+ IDE.

  • Ability to read hardware schematics and perform hardware debugging.

  • Experience using hardware debugging instruments (DSO, multimeter, etc.).

  • Strong understanding of hardware-software interaction and interrupt handling.



Preferred Skills
  • Experience with ARM-based microcontrollers.

  • Experience working on embedded systems in automotive, EV, or industrial power systems.

  • Knowledge of motor control algorithms and inverter control systems.
