The EHS Specialist is responsible for providing safe work environments, work practices and EHS training for all on-site personnel. You must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, be detail oriented and organized.

Job Title: EHS Specialist
Location: Cincinnati, OH
A Short List of Your Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Develop, recommend and implement enhancements to existing EHS plans and procedures.
- Guide, support, coordinate and lead activities for several EHS focus teams.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of Formica behavioral based safety programs in support of a safe work culture.
- Conduct job tasks analysis.
- Maintain environmental compliance and reports such as Title V Air Permitting, NPDES/Waste Water Permitting, SARA reporting and SPCC.
- Complete risk analysis and hazard identification and provide recommendations.
- Assist in the development, planning, coordination and conducting of EHS training, including orientation, monthly safety training topics, etc.
- Conduct incident investigations.
- Develop and maintain EHS statistical databases and the preparation of monthly reports.
- Provide EHS support to management team.
- Develop and distribute EHS internal communications.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- 3+ years’ experience with Environmental Health & Safety in a manufacturing environment is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in safety management or a related field preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required.
