EHS Specialist

The EHS Specialist is responsible for providing safe work environments, work practices and EHS training for all on-site personnel. You must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, be detail oriented and organized.

Job Title: EHS Specialist

Location: Cincinnati, OH

A Short List of Your Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Develop, recommend and implement enhancements to existing EHS plans and procedures.
• Guide, support, coordinate and lead activities for several EHS focus teams.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of Formica behavioral based safety programs in support of a safe work culture.
• Conduct job tasks analysis.
• Maintain environmental compliance and reports such as Title V Air Permitting, NPDES/Waste Water Permitting, SARA reporting and SPCC.
• Complete risk analysis and hazard identification and provide recommendations.
• Assist in the development, planning, coordination and conducting of EHS training, including orientation, monthly safety training topics, etc.
• Conduct incident investigations.
• Develop and maintain EHS statistical databases and the preparation of monthly reports.
• Provide EHS support to management team.
• Develop and distribute EHS internal communications.
• Performs other duties as assigned
  
  
  

We’re Looking for A Self-Starter Who Meets the Following Requirements:

• 3+ years’ experience with Environmental Health & Safety in a manufacturing environment is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in safety management or a related field preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required.
