Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Education Counselor to guide prospective students in choosing the right Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) programs. The ideal candidate should have experience in online sales, lead conversion, and student counseling, with the ability to achieve enrollment targets while delivering an excellent student experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Counsel prospective students over phone, video calls, and virtual meetings regarding UG and PG programs.
  • Understand students' educational background, career aspirations, and recommend suitable courses.
  • Convert inbound and outbound leads into successful admissions.
  • Follow up with prospective students through calls, emails, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
  • Explain course curriculum, eligibility, fee structure, scholarships, and admission processes.
  • Assist students throughout the admission journey, including documentation and enrollment.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and admissions in the CRM system.
  • Meet individual and team admission targets.
  • Stay updated with university offerings, admission policies, and market trends.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth admission and onboarding process.
  • Build strong relationships with students and parents by providing timely support and guidance.

Required Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and persuasion abilities.
  • Experience in online counseling, telesales, or education sales.
  • Ability to handle objections and close admissions effectively.
  • Customer-focused with a target-driven approach.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
  • Good organizational and follow-up skills.

Eligibility

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • Minimum 0 to 1 year of experience in EdTech, Education Counseling, Academic Admissions, or Inside Sales.
  • Experience in selling Online UG & PG programs will be preferred.

  • Monthly admission/enrollment targets.
  • Lead-to-admission conversion ratio.
  • Student engagement and follow-up effectiveness.
  • CRM data accuracy and timely updates.
  • Student satisfaction and service quality.

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Experience in online admission counseling for universities or EdTech companies.
  • Strong understanding of UG/PG online and distance learning programs.
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and comfortable working in a target-driven environment.
