Role Description The EdTech Business Development Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. In this position, the individual is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities within the EdTech sector, including prospecting, qualifying leads, and building a strong sales pipeline. Day-to-day tasks include conducting outreach to potential clients, presenting solutions that align with client needs, and negotiating terms to close deals. The role involves maintaining and expanding relationships with existing accounts, tracking performance metrics, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and client satisfaction. The Executive will also stay informed about market trends, competitor activity, and product updates to refine sales strategies and support revenue growth.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in New Business Development and Lead Generation, with the ability to identify, qualify, and pursue opportunities in the EdTech market.
  • Business and Account Management skills to handle client relationships, manage pipelines, and support long-term partnerships.
  • Effective Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, presentation abilities, and active listening.
  • Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in EdTech, education services, SaaS, or related industries.
  • Ability to work in a target-driven environment, with strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field is preferred.
  • Comfort with CRM tools, basic data analysis, and reporting to track leads, conversions, and key performance indicators.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on-site in Bengaluru.
