Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Edtech Business Development Executive role based in Bengaluru, with compensation up to 8 LPA. The role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the edtech sector, including prospecting potential clients such as educational institutions, training companies, and learning platforms. The Executive will manage the entire sales cycle: generating leads, conducting outreach (calls, emails, meetings), presenting tailored solutions, and closing deals. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining a strong sales pipeline, managing client accounts, nurturing long-term relationships, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery. The role also requires market research on edtech trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to refine sales strategies and support revenue growth.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess skills in New Business Development and Lead Generation to identify prospects, build pipelines, and convert opportunities in the edtech domain.
  • Candidates should possess strong Business and Account Management skills to manage client relationships, negotiate agreements, and drive sustainable revenue.
  • Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to conduct effective presentations, client meetings, and professional correspondence.
  • Prior experience in sales or business development, preferably in edtech, SaaS, or education services, is highly beneficial.
  • Ability to work with targets, analyze sales data, and use CRM or sales tools to track activities and outcomes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset, resilience in a fast-paced environment, and willingness to engage in field visits and client meetings in Bengaluru.
