Role Description The EDTECH - BDA (up to 8 LPA) role at CareerBloc is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. In this role, the Business Development Associate will identify and engage potential learners through calls, messages, and meetings, clearly explaining program offerings and addressing questions. The BDA will manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and follow-up to enrollment closure, while maintaining accurate records in CRM tools. Daily activities include building and nurturing a pipeline, achieving revenue and conversion targets, coordinating with marketing and academic teams, and providing feedback to improve campaigns and offerings. The role requires a proactive, target-driven approach, strong communication, and a focus on delivering a positive experience to every prospective learner.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with prospective learners and stakeholders.
- Proven aptitude in sales or business development, including lead management, negotiation, and closing enrollments or similar conversions.
- Comfort with using CRM or sales management tools, basic data analysis, and maintaining organized records of interactions and performance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet performance targets, and adapt to changing priorities and processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; prior experience in edtech, counseling, or inside sales is highly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving mindset, resilience, and a learner-centric approach when handling queries and objections.
- Willingness to work on-site in Bengaluru, including extended hours or weekends when required by business needs.
