Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Editor - Pre Primary at Vikas Publishing, located in Delhi, India. The Editor will be responsible for conceptualizing, creating, and editing content for pre-primary educational materials. Key responsibilities include reviewing manuscripts, ensuring language accuracy, developing age-appropriate content, coordinating with authors and designers, and overseeing the production process to maintain quality and timelines. The role requires collaborating with the product development team to ensure content aligns with the educational standards and company objectives.

Qualifications

  • Strong editing, proofreading, and writing skills for educational content
  • Experience in content development and curriculum planning for pre-primary education
  • Proficiency in communication and collaboration with team members, authors, and designers
  • Attention to detail and the ability to adhere to project deadlines
  • Proven knowledge of pre-primary pedagogy and child-centric education practices
  • Proficiency in using publishing and editing tools
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field; specialization in early education or publishing is preferred
