D2C Ecommerce Operations Analyst

About the Role

We are a fast-growing D2C brand looking for a highly analytical and execution-focused Ecommerce Operations Analyst. This role sits at the intersection of data, operations, and profitability.

You will be responsible for tracking daily business performance, identifying leakages (especially in COD and RTO), and working closely with operations and marketing teams to improve overall efficiency and margins.

Key Responsibilities
1. Daily Business Tracking
• Monitor daily orders, revenue, and collections (COD vs prepaid)
• Track end-to-end cost including product, shipping, RTO, packaging, and platform fees
• Calculate daily and per-order profitability
2. RTO & COD Optimization
• Analyze RTO trends by city, pincode, and product
• Identify high-risk zones and recommend COD restrictions or interventions
• Improve prepaid conversion through data insights
3. Operations Management
• Coordinate with warehouse and courier partners for smooth dispatch
• Track shipment timelines, delays, and delivery success rates
• Identify operational gaps leading to returns or damages
4. Dashboard & Reporting
• Build and maintain daily and weekly dashboards (Google Sheets / Excel)
• Share actionable insights with founders and leadership
• Ensure a single source of truth for all ecommerce metrics
5. Performance Optimization
• Analyze product-level profitability
• Work with marketing team to align ad spend with profitable SKUs
• Suggest improvements in packaging, logistics, and delivery experience

Requirements
• 2 to 5 years of experience in ecommerce, D2C, or marketplace operations
• Strong proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets (mandatory)
• Hands-on experience with platforms like Amazon Seller Central, Shopify, or similar
• Understanding of logistics, shipping, and RTO dynamics in India
• Strong analytical thinking with attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, execution-driven environment
