Job Description

Safeguard Armour is a UK-based company supplying tactical equipment, military clothing, police uniforms, and protective gear globally.


Alongside our rapidly growing government tender and B2B operations, we operate a direct-to-consumer e-commerce business selling tactical equipment and apparel through Shopify and Amazon in over 8 counties


We are looking for someone who can fully own and run this revenue channel, so the leadership team does not need to be involved in daily operations.


This is a hands-on role for someone who understands Amazon Seller Central, Google Adwords/PPC, Shopify operations, and performance marketing, and who enjoys taking responsibility for results.


Role Overview


You will be responsible for running and improving our entire B2C e-commerce operation, including Shopify, Amazon, and potentially other marketplaces.


Your goal is to ensure the channel runs smoothly, profitably, and independently, managing everything from advertising to customer experience.


You will work closely with our warehouse team to ensure orders, packaging, and customer experience are handled correctly.


Key Responsibilities



Shopify Store Management

  • Manage and maintain the Shopify storefront
  • Optimize product pages and conversion rates
  • Ensure accurate product information and catalogue updates
  • Coordinate promotions and product launches


Advertising & Growth

  • Manage Amazon PPC campaigns
  • Run Google Ads / AdWords campaigns
  • Track advertising performance and ROI
  • Optimize ad spend to improve profitability


Marketplace Management

  • Manage our Amazon Seller Central account
  • Optimize product listings, SEO, and catalogue structure
  • Manage inventory levels and pricing
  • Monitor account health, reviews, and seller metrics


Customer Experience

  • Manage returns and customer service processes
  • Monitor and respond to reviews and feedback
  • Reduce negative feedback and return rates
  • Improve post-purchase experience


Fulfilment & Packaging

  • Coordinate with the warehouse team on fulfilment
  • Improve packaging and customer inserts
  • Ensure smooth shipping and delivery processes
  • Reduce fulfilment errors and delays


Reporting & Performance Tracking

Provide weekly reporting on:

  • sales performance
  • advertising spend and ROI
  • return rates
  • customer feedback
  • inventory and product performance


Ideal Candidate

You should have 3-5years experience running Amazon and Shopify stores for a consumer brand.


We are looking for someone who:

  • has experience managing Amazon Seller Central
  • understands Amazon PPC and Google Ads
  • has worked with Shopify stores
  • understands product listings, conversion optimization, and marketplace growth
  • is comfortable working with operations and warehouse teams
  • takes ownership of outcomes rather than waiting for instructions
