We are looking for an experienced E-commerce Marketplace Consultant to guide and support our team on the day-to-day operations and growth of client accounts across leading e-commerce and quick-commerce platforms.

This is a strategic + execution advisory role, where you will act as a subject-matter expert to streamline operations, optimize performance, and ensure best-in-class marketplace presence for our clients.


Key Responsibilities


1. Marketplace Strategy & Consulting
  • Provide ongoing guidance on managing and scaling accounts across platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Ajio, Blinkit, Instamart, Zepto, etc.
  • Advise on platform-specific growth strategies, algorithms, and best practices
  • Identify opportunities for revenue growth, visibility improvement, and operational efficiency
2. Account Setup & Onboarding
  • Guide teams on end-to-end account creation and setup
  • Assist with:
  • Vendor/seller onboarding
  • Compliance and documentation
  • Category approvals and brand registry
  • Support handover from existing agencies/vendors ensuring smooth transition
3. Cataloging & Content Optimization
  • Oversee product listing creation and optimization:
  • Titles, descriptions, keywords, backend attributes
  • A+ content / brand store recommendations
  • Ensure platform-specific catalog standards are followed
  • Guide on image/content best practices for conversion
4. Inventory & Operations Management
  • Advise on inventory planning and replenishment strategies
  • Ensure proper coordination between warehouse, marketplace, and logistics
  • Help reduce stockouts, overstocking, and operational inefficiencies
  • Suggest improvements in fulfillment models (FBA, FBM, quick commerce dark stores, etc.)
5. Performance Monitoring & Optimization
  • Track and guide on key metrics:
  • Sales, conversion rates, CTR, Buy Box ownership
  • Fill rate, cancellations, returns
  • Recommend corrective actions to improve account health
  • Support in setting up dashboards/reporting frameworks
6. Advertising & Visibility (Advisory)
  • Guide on marketplace ads (Amazon Ads, Flipkart Ads, etc.)
  • Recommend budget allocation and campaign structures
  • Work with internal/performance teams to improve ROI
7. Platform-Specific Expertise (Quick Commerce Focus)
  • Provide insights into Blinkit, Instamart, Zepto operations:
  • Assortment planning
  • Pricing and discounting strategies
  • Visibility levers within apps
  • Help optimize for high-frequency, fast-moving categories
8. Issue Resolution & Escalations
  • Support the team in resolving:
  • Account suspensions
  • Listing issues
  • Catalog errors
  • Logistics or reconciliation challenges
9. SOPs & Team Enablement
  • Build and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Train internal teams on marketplace operations
  • Create playbooks for onboarding, cataloging, and scaling
Required Skills & Experience
  • 4–8+ years of hands-on experience managing e-commerce marketplace accounts
  • Strong expertise across:
  • Amazon, Flipkart (must-have)
  • Quick commerce platforms (Blinkit, Instamart, Zepto)
  • Fashion/lifestyle platforms (Myntra, Ajio) – preferred
  • Deep understanding of:
  • Cataloging systems
  • Inventory and supply chain workflows
  • Marketplace algorithms and ranking factors
  • Experience in agency or multi-brand environment is a strong plus
