Key Responsibilities

E-Commerce Marketplace Accounting

• Manage accounting operations related to Amazon and Flipkart seller accounts.
• Monitor marketplace transactions including orders, returns, refunds, commissions, and settlements.
• Perform order reconciliation with settlement reports from marketplaces.

Financial & Accounting Operations

• Record marketplace transactions in Busy Accounting Software.
• Handle GST invoicing, sales entries, and tax-related documentation.
• Track payment settlements, deductions, and commission charges from marketplaces.
• Ensure accurate financial reconciliation between marketplace reports and accounting software.

Inventory & Data Management

• Maintain and reconcile inventory records between warehouses and marketplaces.
• Coordinate with operations and logistics teams to ensure correct stock updates.
• Prepare periodic sales, revenue, and settlement reports.

Reporting & Analysis

• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports related to E-commerce operations.
• Analyze marketplace data to identify discrepancies or financial gaps.
• Support management with data-driven insights for decision-making.

Coordination & Operations

• Work closely with sales, logistics, and operations teams for smooth order processing.
• Resolve discrepancies related to payments, settlements, or inventory mismatches.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance for marketplace accounting.

Automation & AI Usage

• Utilize basic AI tools for reporting, data analysis, automation, and productivity improvements.
• Implement simple automation for repetitive tasks such as reporting and reconciliation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of E-commerce accounting and marketplace operations.
• Experience managing Amazon and Flipkart seller dashboards.
• Hands-on experience with Busy Accounting Software.
• Knowledge of:
• Order reconciliation
• Settlement reports
• GST invoicing
• Payment tracking
• Strong analytical, numerical, and data management skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in D2C or health & wellness brands.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems.
• Experience handling multi-channel marketplace accounting.
• Knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets advanced functions.
• Exposure to AI tools or automation platforms for reporting or workflow efficiency.

Experience Requirement

• 2–4 years of experience in E-commerce accounting or marketplace operations.
• Prior experience working with Amazon Seller Central and Flipkart Seller Hub is required.
• Experience handling financial reconciliation of online marketplace transactions.
