We are hiring for the position of Dy. Chief Expert-Radio System including (FRMCS).

Responsibilities:

Design review and approve of Radio system and FRMCS such as end to end Radio system (LTE-R/ FRMCS) including radio system architecture, network planning, technical and interface specifications, configuration design, MME and S‑GW architecture, RF propagation and coverage planning, antenna siting, interference mitigation, and backhaul routing etc. Ensure completeness of operational documentation (O&M manuals, training, spares), and verify compliance with EMC/EMI, cyber‑security, performance, and all other applicable MAHSR standards
Installation, Testing & Integration Commissioning : Coordinate the overall ITC stages inspections with Contractor (FAT, IAT, PAT, SAT, ITC)
Manage and Coordinate of Radio System with Contractors by review and approve the Interface Control Documents (ICDs), Alignment of Design inputs to Contractors, Oversee the integration of the ETCS/Signalling, Telecom backbone, Rolling Stock onboard radios, OCC/BCC, SCADA, AMS, and civil works (tunnels, viaducts, stations). and other dependent systems, including final review and approval of interface documentation.
Review and Certify the Payment for completed works as per Cost Center and evaluate variation orders and claims while providing technical and contractual support to the Client.
Assist client in obtaining statutory approvals and coordination assistance with various agencies for ISA, CMRS for successful completion of Project.
Ensure compliance with all DB E&C policies, procedures, and ethical standards
Undertake any additional duties assigned by the Client, Chief Radio System & FMRCS Expert, PD and DB HQ.
Act as the designated representative of Chief Expert – Radio System and FRMCS, assuming full responsibility for all duties, and decision-making authority during his absence.
Engineering Graduate OR Diploma in Electrical OR Electronics stream or equivalent.
Engineering Graduate with overall 15 years, or Engineering Diploma with overall 18 years of experience in Railways/Metro
08 years of experience in project management of implementing Radio System (GSM-R/TETRA/Wi-Fi/LTE-4G/5G) during construction phase in Rail based Transit System projects.
Strong understanding and expertise in LTE‑R architecture, FRMCS evolution roadmap , RF engineering background (coverage, propagation, interference). Knowledge of IP/MPLS backhaul, redundancy, failover and experience in integrated T&C with signalling, TMS, Telecom & Rolling stock and good understanding of safety, EMC/EMI, QoS, SLA KPIs.
Strong project management and coordination capabilities, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Excellent communication, Negotiation and presentation skills.
