As a Draughtsman, you will work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to prepare 2D drawings, layouts, and technical documentation required for execution. The role demands accuracy, technical understanding, and the ability to interpret project requirements effectively. You will be responsible for preparing drawings for approvals, revisions, and final submissions while ensuring compliance with industry standards and company guidelines.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed 2D drawings, layouts, and technical plans using AutoCAD
Convert design concepts, sketches, and specifications into accurate technical drawings
Modify and revise drawings based on feedback from engineers and project managers
Ensure drawings comply with industry standards and project requirements
Maintain proper documentation and version control of all drawings
Coordinate with site teams and engineers to understand practical execution needs
Assist in preparing bill of quantities and technical documentation where required
Conduct regular quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings
Support project teams during design reviews and approvals
Manage multiple assignments while meeting deadlines

What Makes You a Great Fit

1+ year of experience as a Draughtsman or CAD Designer
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD with the ability to create and edit technical drawings efficiently
Basic understanding of engineering, architectural, or construction drawings
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting
Ability to interpret technical specifications and instructions clearly
Good communication skills for coordination with cross-functional teams
Time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify drawing discrepancies
Willingness to learn and adapt to new drafting standards and project requirements
Diploma or relevant qualification in drafting, civil, mechanical, or related field preferred
